Nearly 3,400 residents of Kirov Oblast assessed their IT competencies.
In the first five months of the national IT competency verification system project, 367,000 Russians had their skills assessed. In Kirov Oblast, about 3,400 people were assessed.
Despite the concentration of IT vacancies in Moscow (from 42% to 46%), half of all IT specialists in Russia live in the regions. This indicates a stable distribution of personnel across the country.
"The IT sector is already extending beyond traditional IT businesses. Today demand for specialists is driven not only by IT companies (38%), but also by the financial sector (10%), retail (7%), business services (6%), and construction (4%). This confirms that the digitalization of the economy is progressing at a rapid pace," notes Olga Bryleva, director of the hh.ru branch.
The project allows any Russian citizen to confirm their IT competencies free of charge and on a voluntary basis and receive an official certificate from the Ministry of Digital Development. The system is available regardless of education level and is intended to improve labor market transparency and the quality of applicants' skills assessment.
