The government of Kirov Oblast will insure an official vehicle for three million rubles.

      A tender appeared on the public procurement website for the provision of services for the voluntary insurance of one of the new official HAVAL F7 vehicles, a 2025 model, acquired for the government of Kirov Oblast. The insured amount exceeded 3 million rubles, and the policy will be valid for one year throughout Russia. It should be noted that the contract amount for concluding the KASKO agreement was 86,378 rubles.

      Under the terms of the contract, the insurer undertakes to compensate for damage in the event of a traffic accident, fire, damage from falling objects, natural disasters, unlawful acts by third parties, and theft. In the event of an insured event, payment can be received in cash or through restorative repair of the vehicle at the insurer’s official service centers.

      The timeframes for processing and payments under the insurance are set short: damage assessment is promised no later than two business days after filing a claim, the decision on payment — within five days, and the insurance payout must be made within a maximum of 20 business days.

      The contract is paid from the Kirov Oblast budget, and the policy itself must be issued by the insurer within 10 business days after signing the agreement. In addition, the contract provides for round-the-clock support for vehicle owners and free towing in the event of an accident.

      Earlier, the government of Kirov Oblast posted a tender to purchase 13 vehicles manufactured in Russia to update its fleet. As stated in the auction documents, the cars are needed to meet the region’s governmental needs.

      The customer of the procurement was the Kirov regional state budgetary institution “Motor Pool of the Government of Kirov Oblast.” The starting price of the contract was 39,999,999 rubles; however, Moscow company “Rolf,” which won the tender, reduced it by one million rubles, resulting in the contract price falling to 38,999,999 rubles.

      As a result, the regional government purchased 13 Haval vehicles, each costing 2,999,000 rubles. It is worth noting that Haval is a Chinese automotive brand, but such cars are also produced in Russia, specifically in Tula Oblast.
