An underground "computer-based" casino was uncovered in Kirov.

      The Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case against five residents of Kirov suspected of organizing and conducting illegal gambling. According to the regional branch of the Investigative Committee, from June to September 2025 a group that had conspired in advance opened gaming sites in the city disguised as ordinary rooms with computers. Inside, visitors were given access to gambling via special software and the Internet. The operation of such halls was uncovered and stopped by officers of the Department for Economic Security and Anti-Corruption of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Kirov Region. The Investigative Committee is now carrying out the necessary actions to establish all the circumstances of the case and to gather evidence.
