Today deputies of the Kirov City Duma considered a proposal to install an information board. It was submitted by representatives of the organization "Combat Brotherhood."
It was proposed to place the board on the façade of the Kirov Medical College building at 79 Defenders of the Fatherland Street. It will state the reason for the street's new name.
They want the board made of white marble, with the text written in gold letters. All expenses will be covered by the aforementioned organization.
In the vote, 29 deputies supported the initiative. One voted against.
