Nearly 30,000 "tailed passengers" have ridden trains since the beginning of 2025.

Compared with last year, the number of "tailed passengers" grew by 9%: in 2024 there were nearly 27,000 of them. The usual peak falls during the dacha season. The most animals were transported in July — 5,000, and in August — 4,200. Pets were most often transported in the Nizhny Novgorod region (56%), followed by the Kirov region (32%). Sometimes animals get lost en route, and then the company's staff become a real "lost-and-found service." In 2024 they found four dogs and one cat, and in May 2025 — a Samoyed named Roni. All the furry escapees were returned to their owners. Transporting animals is a paid service; its cost depends on the distance. The only exception is guide dogs. Rules require that small animals travel in carriers, while large ones must wear a muzzle, collar, and leash and stay at their owner's feet.
