53% of Kirov residents are secretly looking for a new job.
53% of Kirov residents said that looking for a job without quitting and without telling their employer is normal. Another 34% are ready to start a job search, but only if the employer is warned in advance. Only 6% of respondents consider such behavior inappropriate.
A covert job search is more often supported by men: 63% versus 43% of women. Women, by contrast, more often favor honesty and prefer to inform in advance of their intention to change jobs (39% versus 30% of men).
Age also affects attitudes toward loyalty. Among respondents over 45, 64% consider a secret job search normal. Young people under 35 are more cautious: only 48% support such a practice.
Freedom of action is most often chosen by Kirov residents with high incomes. In the group earning from 150,000 rubles, 73% of respondents do not feel the need to warn their employer about searching for a new job.
The only category where loyalty still dominates is people with vocational secondary education: 44% of them are sure the employer should be notified, and only 41% lean toward a secret search. According to survey participants, this is related to a shortage of skilled trades and a desire to give the employer time to find a replacement, and sometimes a chance to improve working conditions to retain the employee.
At the same time, employers themselves, it turned out, do not always expect openness from employees: only 35% would like to be warned in advance about a job search.
