At a school in Kirov, children ate from chipped plates.

      The Leninsky District Prosecutor’s Office in Kirov conducted an inspection at Secondary School No. 58 following publications in the media and on social networks about violations in the organization of pupils’ meals.

      As the supervisory authority established, the school’s kitchen had violations in the operation of the ventilation system and of the premises themselves, and both aluminum and chipped tableware were being used, which must be replaced. No traces of insects were found in the food.

      To remedy the violations, the prosecutor issued notices to the school principal and to the head of the city’s food and social catering enterprise.

      The Kirov Region Prosecutor’s Office emphasized that compliance with legislation regarding children’s nutrition in the region’s educational institutions is under constant supervision.
