Today deputies considered a bill amending the law “On establishing in the territory of Kirov Oblast for the tax periods 2023–2025 the tax rates for certain categories of taxpayers applying the simplified taxation system.” It was proposed for adoption at first reading.
Under the old law, in 2023–2025 certain categories of taxpayers, subject to a number of conditions, could take advantage of a tax break and pay tax at a reduced rate — 1% or 3% of income, or 5% or 7.5% under the “income minus expenses” scheme. The new bill proposes to extend the preferential rates to the 2026 tax period for all categories of taxpayers while maintaining the previous conditions.
The Legislative Assembly deputies supported the initiative. It is planned to be refined in the near future.
