Today the Legislative Assembly considered a bill establishing that the maximum total amount of expenditures from a candidate's electoral fund may not exceed 12 million rubles. Previously it was 6 million rubles. The document also stipulates that the maximum total amount of expenditures from an electoral association's electoral fund may not exceed 140 million rubles. Previously it was 70 million rubles. Members of the Legislative Assembly unanimously supported the initiative.
