At today's meeting of the Duma commission, they discussed organizing an additional direct (no-transfer) bus route from the "Kirova Street" stop via the Southern Bypass to the city center (or the southwest district). This initiative was put forward by deputy Alexander Nikulin.
The administration said that servicing such a long route would require at least ten vehicles and the same number of conductors and drivers. Carriers, which do not operate their routes at full capacity, have no additional resources. Nevertheless, the authorities promise to consider what can be done in this regard. A tender may be held in early 2026. If the route proves to be promising for carriers, it is likely that one of them will bid.
