Kirov residents complain about slush in the city center.

      According to residents, there are neither street cleaners nor snow‑removal machines on the streets by the Philharmonic, TSUM, "Jam Mall," at Theatre Square and generally in the old city center.

      "On the roads and sidewalks it's slush, a mess, even studded tires are slipping. From Fileyka to the center I haven't seen a single snow‑clearing machine or any street cleaners," write Kirov residents.

      At the same time the city administration said that road services are operating in an enhanced mode. According to official information, 58 units of equipment and 94 manual‑cleaning specialists were deployed to Kirov's streets this morning.

      Contractors, the mayor's office reports, are prioritizing clearing sidewalks, pedestrian zones, bus shelters and approaches to crossings, and are also treating the roadway with rock salt. Territorial administrations and the landscaping directorate have been instructed to step up control over the condition of streets, parks and squares.
