Amateur meteorologists warn of an imminent thaw.

      According to amateur meteorologists, the snow cover will be temporary: already at the beginning of the new week the region will be covered by warmth again.

      It is expected that on November 18–19 a cyclone will pass through the area, bringing a strong surge of warm air. Temperatures in the warm sector will rise to between +2 and +9 °C, and moderate to heavy rain will arrive with it. Under such conditions the snow will melt quickly, the Telegram channel "Amateur Meteorology in Kirov" writes.

      Meteorologists also note that the active part of the wave on the atmospheric front begins right at Kirov and stretches further south toward Kazan — this is visible on the weather maps they presented.

      Thus, winter in the regional center has only signaled its approach so far. A stable snow cover should not be expected in the coming days.
