Kirov Oblast will accept 27 people under the state resettlement program.
In 2025 the region will accept 27 people who, together with their families, will be able to obtain Russian citizenship through a simplified procedure and relocate to the region as permanent residents.
This decision was made at a meeting of the interdepartmental commission under the regional government. Among the future settlers are a teacher from Kyrgyzstan, a mechanic from Armenia, and a mechanical engineer and a female student from the Kirov Railway Transport Technical School, all arriving from Kazakhstan.
Authorities note that the program helps increase the number of working-age residents and attract qualified personnel needed for economic development. The settlers, in turn, gain the opportunity to start a new life, pursue their professions, and contribute to the development of the region.
