On the evening of November 13 in Kirovo-Chepetsk, a fire broke out in an apartment of a multistory building on Rodygina Lane. According to the press service of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the Kirov Region, the fire started due to careless smoking while intoxicated. When firefighters arrived, they forced open the front door and found an injured man in the smoke-filled room. He was immediately taken out to the stairwell and handed over to medics. The man with burns was taken to the hospital. Five people were evacuated from the building. The fire was quickly extinguished: it only damaged a bed and part of the floor, the blaze covering just 2 square meters.
