A theft of 150,000 rubles was prevented at a bank in Kirov.

In Kirov, in the morning the private security control room received an “Alarm” signal from a bank office on Nekrasov Street. A Rosgvardiya crew immediately went to the scene.

According to the agency, bank employees became suspicious when an elderly customer attempted to make an early withdrawal of 150,000 rubles from her account. The woman was inconsistent in her explanations: at times she said it was for buying medicines, at times to help relatives, and at times for groceries.

Rosgvardiya officers arrived, recorded the circumstances and handed the materials over to the police investigative-operational team. The details of the incident are currently being established.

Rosgvardiya reminded people not to trust calls from unknown callers or make financial decisions under pressure. Under no circumstances should card details be disclosed to strangers or money be handed over to unknown people.
