In 2026, Kirov Oblast expects a deficit of two billion.
According to the new draft budget, in 2026 the budget of Kirov Oblast will be executed with a deficit of 2.69 billion rubles. In 2027 it is planned to move into a surplus of 901.9 million rubles. In 2028 — a surplus of 4.28 billion rubles.
Interestingly, just recently — in September of this year — the authorities stated that they planned a budget surplus for 2026–2027 of 1.8 and 0.9 billion rubles, respectively. As can be seen, nothing much has changed for 2027, but it seems that 2026 has been "burdened" with significant expenditures.
As for Kirov Oblast's public debt, it is planned that at the beginning of 2027 it will amount to 29.64 billion rubles, 2028 — 28.63 billion rubles, 2029 — 24.24 billion rubles.
