As reported by Governor Alexander Sokolov, activists of the People's Front recently described the situation of a resident of Nolinsk and her adult son, who were unable to obtain special medications for the treatment of diabetes. The Ministry of Health conducted an investigation which found that the medicines were present in the pharmacy chain but did not reach the patients. As a result, a personnel decision was made regarding the head of the pharmacy chain; that position is now vacant. As for the family, after the authorities intervened they were provided with medicines. The Ministry of Health has placed the situation under strict control.
