Only 22% of Kirov residents consider the city the best place to build a career.

According to the research center SuperJob, only 22% of Kirov residents consider Kirov the best place for professional growth. Almost half of respondents (49%) disagree with this view, and another 29% were undecided. Notably, the figure has essentially not changed over the past two years: in 2024, 17% of residents thought so, while in 2023 it was the same 22%.

Analysts say Kirov has joined the ranks of cities with the fewest opportunities for career development, alongside Orenburg, Ulyanovsk, Volgograd, Novokuznetsk and Lipetsk.

Moscow was named the best city for career growth by 69% of its residents. Second was Kazan (54%), followed by Saint Petersburg and Yekaterinburg (53% each), Tyumen (52%), Krasnodar (47%), Vladivostok (45%) and Naberezhnye Chelny (44%).
