A Higher League match of the national ice hockey championship concluded in Kirovo-Chepetsk. "Olimpiya" hosted opponents from HC Tambov.
During the match the visitors led twice, but "Olimpiya" came back each time. Overtime produced no winner, and in the end everything was decided in a shootout, where the Tambov players were more accurate, converting two shots to one for the Chepetsk side.
In the standings "Olimpiya" occupies 24th place out of 32 teams. Note that they have only 31 goals scored — the worst figure in the league.
