Traffic restrictions have been reintroduced on the bridge over the Moloma River.

      As reported by the regional State Traffic Inspectorate, in accordance with an order of the Federal State Institution "Uprdor 'Prikamye'" dated October 28, 2025, a temporary restriction on vehicle traffic has been introduced on the bridge over the Moloma River in the Orlovsky District at the 526th kilometer of the federal highway Kistroma — Sharya — Kirov — Perm. The restriction concerns the maximum weight of a vehicle, which must not exceed 25 tonnes.

      It should be noted that a sign limiting the weight of vehicles crossing the Moloma bridge to 25 tonnes already stands (and stood previously) before the bridge. The reason for the additional issuance of the Uprdor order is unknown.

      Recall that on April 24 of this year, after a heavy truck passed over the bridge over the Moloma, the bridge literally cracked: one of the spans of the bridge sank and traffic across it became impossible. Later, the heavy-truck drivers whose passage caused the bridge to break were identified and detained.

      The truckers who crossed the bridge carrying a load weighing 127 tonnes, which caused the bridge to crack, were detained near Kotelnich. The Investigative Committee for the Kirov Region opened a criminal case under Part 4 of Article 267 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (rendering transport routes unfit for use). Charges have been brought against the director of one of the limited liability companies from the city of Omsk and the driver of the heavy truck who crossed the bridge. The bridge began to be repaired for traffic in early May. The bridge was opened to traffic on May 28. However, heavy trucks did not risk driving over the bridge in their usual manner and crossed it one at a time.
