On October 26, firefighting and rescue units of the Kirov region extinguished three fires. The fires broke out in Kirov on Shchorsa Street, in Kirovo-Chepetsk and in the Slobodskoy district. The blaze damaged an abandoned apartment building that had previously burned and two dachas.
In addition, rescuers responded twice to road traffic accidents. One of them occurred in the Kotelnichsky district on the federal R-243 highway, where a Volkswagen Polo and a Daewoo Nexia collided. EMERCOM personnel extricated an injured female passenger and handed her over to medics.
