The Investigative Committee is examining complaints about the lack of food deliveries in two districts of Kirov Oblast.

As we reported earlier, in the settlement of Borovka in the Belokholunitsky District food deliveries have not been made for more than three weeks. There is no shop in the settlement, and the nearest one is 18 kilometers away. According to residents, deliveries stopped because the administration's only vehicle broke down. Deliveries, the district said, will be able to resume only in November — after the vehicle is repaired.

A similar situation has arisen in the village of Bolshie Tury in the Sunsky District, where a shop closed several years ago and there is no bus service to the district center. Food deliveries to the village are also not being made.

At the direction of the acting head of the investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Kirov Region, Maksim Kozlov, investigators are conducting procedural checks aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident and assessing the actions (or inaction) of officials.

The regional Investigative Committee noted that a procedural decision will be taken based on the results of the check.
