Rakhim Azimov: The federal budget provides funding for United Russia's "People's Program".
Rakhim Azimov spoke about the budget priorities for the coming three years:
"First and foremost — fulfilling all social obligations of the state. The draft provides for the indexation of public-sector salaries, pensions, and the minimum wage. These decisions directly affect the quality of life of millions of citizens.
The most important direction is ensuring the defense and security of the country, as well as supporting the families of service members. This is not just a line in the budget — it is our shared duty to those who defend Russia.
And, of course, the budget includes expenditures on economic development. The document provides funding for national projects and the implementation of the national goals defined by the President of the Russian Federation. This is comprehensive work aimed at regional growth, the development of industry, infrastructure, and the social sphere."
Earlier, at a meeting of the party's program commission chaired by Dmitry Anatolyevich Medvedev, it was decided that the United Russia party would provide consolidated support for the budget. Thanks to this, funding for the party's People's Program for the next three years has been secured. This program was developed with the participation of citizens across the country. More than 2.5 million Russians submitted their proposals — via the internet, in social institutions, and at meetings. These initiatives were reflected in the federal budget.
The United Russia faction, together with the Government, will also continue to work through a number of areas, including social ones. This concerns additional funds to increase the accessibility of prosthetic and orthopedic care for persons with disabilities, subsidies for privileged categories of citizens for the installation of gas appliances, major renovations of schools, support for the "Defenders of the Fatherland" fund, and the development of the road network.
