"Olympia" made a productive trip to the Arctic.

Today, October 23, Olympia met the club of the same name in Norilsk. Fears about acclimatization (a four-hour time difference) proved unfounded — the team went into the game in excellent spirits. In the first period the Chepetsk side withstood the hosts' attacks — the hosts outshot them 23–14 but still failed to score. Then, in the 34th minute, Olympia opened the scoring — Maksim Pikov scored. Afterwards the visitors smartly maintained the winning result — Norilsk's substitution of the goalkeeper for an extra skater did not help. Moreover, a minute and a half before the final siren Pavel Pishchalnikov scored into the empty net. The 2–0 victory was a wonderful gift from the team to Olympia's head coach Mikhail Zvyagin, who celebrated his birthday yesterday.
