According to the "My Documents" center, a self-imposed ban on the issuance of SIM cards can be registered on the Gosuslugi portal or in person at an MFC. To date, more than 500 residents of Kirov have used this option and placed a ban on issuing SIM cards at "My Documents" centers. "In the event of lost documents or other incidents, criminals will not be able to obtain SIM cards in a person’s name and, consequently, use them in fraudulent schemes. At the same time, a citizen can lift the self-imposed ban on obtaining SIM cards through an MFC at any time. They must have their passport and SNILS with them. The self-ban will be lifted within one day," the "My Documents" center noted.
