Kirov resident fined for incitement to terrorism on Telegram

      In Kirov, the sentence of the Central District Military Court against a local resident accused of promoting terrorism has come into legal force. Taking into account his admission of guilt and active remorse, the court sentenced him to a fine of 500,000 rubles.

      According to the FSB directorate for the Kirov Region, the man, via the Telegram messenger, publicly called for the commission of terrorist acts against facilities of the city's oil‑refining complex.
