Modernization of the wastewater treatment facilities at the Vyatskie Uvaly rehabilitation center in the village of Burmakino in the Kirovo-Chepetsk District is nearing completion. The Ministry of Environmental Protection reported that commissioning work and equipment adjustments are currently underway.
The ministry recalled that in 2024 an unscheduled inspection showed low efficiency in wastewater treatment — the facilities were operating at only 20% capacity. After specialists intervened, the situation began to improve.
On October 16 the ministry carried out a new inspection. The results of the analysis of treatment quality will be announced later.
