Today Governor Alexander Sokolov noted that, with the start of the heating season in the region, the risks of fires have increased. He asked local residents to be extremely careful, and the heads of municipalities to step up preventive patrols. “There are a lot of homemade stoves and wiring,” the official said. “And then it all catches fire.”
Sokolov also suggested addressing the problems of fire victims by arranging fire insurance. He ordered that explanatory work be carried out with residents.
