Maria Butina, a State Duma deputy from Kirov Oblast, said she had received the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation’s badge "For Cooperation." According to Butina, the award was presented to her by the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Sergey Lavrov. She thanked the minister for his high appraisal of her work and said she considers the award "a great honor and a responsibility." Butina added that "the labor, insight and steadfastness of Sergey Viktorovich invariably serve as a source of inspiration in serving the Motherland."
