Kirov lawyer Yaroslav Mikhailov submitted a request to have the Gym Station sports club hall inspected for compliance with sanitary standards and the aesthetics of the space.
In the document addressed to regulatory authorities, the lawyer notes that a media report mentioned the filming of an adult movie in the premises where "regular classes for residents of the city of Kirov take place." He points out that the hall "is not intended for sexual activity," and reminds that new sanitary regulations governing the operation of sports and leisure facilities came into force in 2025.
"An obvious question arises about the quality of the cleaning carried out after sexual activity took place in the premises — whether sanitary-hygienic standards and the aesthetics of the space have been ensured," Mikhailov's appeal says.
In a comment to Newsler.ru, the lawyer clarified that, according to the updated sanitary regulations, sports and leisure premises are required to maintain a certain level of cleanliness and visual tidiness:
"It's no secret what traces are left after such events. Cleaning is necessary. We have contacted Rospotrebnadzor with a request to check the premises for compliance with sanitary requirements and the aesthetics of the space," Mikhailov said.
