VyatGU hosted the patriotic exhibition "We Remember Our Own"
On October 15, Vyatka State University hosted the ceremonial opening of the patriotic exhibition "We Remember Our Own." Addressing the attending faculty and students was an active fighter in the Special Military Operation with the call sign "Vyatka":
"The idea for this exhibition came to me in 2024, when my close friend was killed on the front line. Over time the idea grew, and today the exhibition is a tribute to all those who fell in the SMO. Look closely at these faces, and let each photograph become a symbol of our respect, an eternal memory of those who gave their lives for our future."
Frontline photographs, silent witnesses of harsh daily life, captured the combat work of Airborne Forces (VDV) units in the special operation zone.
A participant in the "Vyatka Corps of Defenders of the Fatherland" project and trainee at Vyatka State University, Nikolai Tselousov, knows firsthand what frontline life is:
"These fighters were not afraid to carry out a mission so important for our time. They are fighting for peace! May each of you, looking at these photographs, feel your involvement in the common cause of bringing Victory closer; may your support for our fighters not weaken — write letters, weave camouflage nets, remember that every square meter of net saves lives."
The poignant words resonated in the hearts of Vyatka State University students. The students wrote cards for SMO participants, which will soon be sent to the front to warm the fighters' hearts far from home.
The "We Remember Our Own" exhibition will be on display in Building 14 of Vyatka State University (2nd floor) until October 20, after which it will continue its tour across Russian cities, being supplemented with new photographs of heroes of the special military operation from various regions of the country.
