Recently in Kirov, on Beregovaya Street, traffic police stopped a car and discovered a woman in the trunk with visible signs of having been beaten. The driver was an intoxicated local woman; beside her was another passenger, also drunk.
It turned out that on the night of October 13 three women had been drinking in the stairwell of a building on Maklina Street. A conflict broke out between them, during which two of them brutally beat the third. After that they dragged the victim out into the street, shoved her into the trunk of a car and began driving around the city. It is unknown how it might have ended, but the traffic officers freed the woman and called an investigative team.
The regional office of the Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case on charges of kidnapping committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy with the use of violence dangerous to life and health.
