In Kirov Oblast, the past weekend again did not go without drunk drivers behind the wheel.

From October 3 to 5, traffic police officers detained 33 drivers who had gotten behind the wheel while intoxicated or refused to undergo a medical examination. Another 26 people were driving vehicles without a license or having been deprived of one.
During the same period, 18 road accidents occurred in the region, in which three people were killed and 23 were injured. In total over the weekend the police recorded 796 traffic violations.
The State Traffic Inspectorate of Kirov Oblast reminded that driving while intoxicated carries a fine of 45,000 rubles and revocation of the driver's license for up to two years.
