Earlier, media reported that in early October an electric scooter rider struck a pensioner in a pedestrian zone in Kirov and fled the scene. The victim was hospitalized with injuries. Investigators of the Kirov Investigative Department have already launched a procedural check. At the instruction of the head of the Investigative Committee (SKR), the acting head of the regional investigative department, Maxim Kozlov, has been ordered to open a criminal case and report on the progress of the investigation. The execution of the order is being monitored by the central office of the Investigative Committee.
