      By the end of 2024 the region had 70 hospitals, 240 polyclinics and about 430 feldsher-midwife stations. Over the year, 268,900 patients received care in round-the-clock inpatient facilities, including almost 30,000 children. Another 5,400 people were treated in day hospitals.

      There were 11.5 million outpatient and home visits to doctors, and ambulance crews carried out more than 365,000 calls during the year, transporting over 100,000 patients to hospitals.
