
It has emerged how many residents of Kirov are to be trained in military occupational specialties this year.
A document published on the government’s website sets out plans to train citizens in VUS (military registration specialties). Thus, the task plan for local military commissariats for training citizens in the educational organizations of the regional branch of DOSAAF lists 210 people to be trained in the specialty “driver of category C vehicles.”
The task plan for organizations of secondary vocational education lists 50 people to be trained in the specialty “driver of category C vehicles.” The task plan for commissariats on training citizens in VUS in organizations of secondary vocational education calls for 50 category C vehicle drivers, 10 auto repair fitters, five tractor operators, 15 cooks, 13 junior medical specialists, five mid-level medical specialists, the same number of milling machine operators, and two welders.
Training in VUS will run from October to April (first cohort) and from late March to October of the following year (second cohort). Exams will take place in January–March and June–September.
Note that last year the authorities intended to prepare 331 people for VUS. DOSAAF prepared 203, and institutions of secondary vocational education prepared 174. In April–June, 367 people were sent into military service.
This work was highly rated in the military commissariats of the Verkhnekamsky, Zuevsky, Falensky, Kumensky, Sunsky, Luzsky, Podosinovsky, Nolinsky, Nemskiy, Kilmezsky, Omutninsky, Afanasyevsky, Urzhumsky, Lebyazhsky, Shabalinsky and Svechinsky districts. The task there was completed at 100% and above.
Work was poorly carried out in the military commissariat of the Oktyabrsky and Pervomaysky districts of Kirov, where task completion was 83.3% and the number of expelled cadets was eight. The military commissariats of the city of Vyatskiye Polyany, Vyatskopolyansky and Malmyzhsky districts (33.3%); Kotel'nich city and Kotel'nichsky, Arbazhsky, Darovsky and Orlovsky districts (84%); Yur'yansky, Murashinsky, Oparinsky districts and the closed administrative-territorial formation (ZATO) Pervomaysky (66.7%); and Yaran, Kiknursky, Sanchursky and Tuzhinsky districts (80%) did not fulfil the task.
