Andrey Mauri became famous not only because of his mustache, which has become his trademark, but also for a complex, at times explosive, and sometimes scandalous character that he apparently inherited from his Italian ancestors. Hence, perhaps, his tendency to say what he thinks regardless of rank or title. By the way, those who know Andrey Albertovich say of him that, although he is not a simple man, he is certainly not base: he will speak plainly rather than hem and haw, smile to your face and then stab you in the back.
As one of the most prominent members of the Kirov business community, Andrey Mauri started out, like many, in the turbulent 1990s. Success in business was not long in coming — his Mauri group of companies grew into an enterprise known far beyond the region and established ties with major companies such as Nestlé, Korkunov, Ferrero Rocher, and the like.
Andrey Albertovich himself is active not only as an entrepreneur but also as a public figure, historian, publisher and even a blogger. He also openly admits that he loves Vyatka almost fanatically and knows and continues to study the history of his native region and its people.
On his 60th birthday, Andrey Albertovich’s friends and colleagues wish him health, happiness, prosperity, good luck and well-being.
