The regional bailiff service seized the debtor’s property, including his bank accounts, recovering more than 1 million rubles in favor of the Kirov branch of Energosbyt Plus.
The company said the customer had not paid for the thermal energy he consumed for several months. Therefore the energy company was forced to go to court to recover the debt. During the proceedings it was found that a sauna was located in the premises owned by the debtor. The debtor had not entered into a contract with the Kirov branch of Energosbyt Plus. There were also no documents for the installed meters. Therefore the charge for the thermal energy he consumed was determined by calculation, taking into account the established heat load of the non‑residential premises.
