According to the resident, he had earlier seen an online advertisement promising a reward for participating in a survey about the services of a major bank. The victim followed the provided link, filled out the form, and entered his bank card details to receive three thousand rubles. However, instead 24,000 rubles were withdrawn from his account.
Police found that the website was fake and had no connection to the bank. A criminal case was opened on charges of theft.
