In Kirov, residents have begun receiving their first heating bills.

      Starting in October, residents of Kirov, Kirovo-Chepetsk and Slobodsk living in buildings without building-wide heat meters have received their first bills. In such buildings charges are calculated according to the standard norm — in equal installments over eight months, from September to April. The amount of the payment depends on the apartment's area.

      If a building is equipped with a heat meter, the first bills will arrive in November. Payment will be calculated based on actual heat consumption: the colder it is outside, the higher the heating costs. Readings of the building-wide metering device (ODPU) are taken from the 23rd to the 25th of each month.

      The company reminds that installing a building-wide meter allows paying only for the heat actually consumed and makes the charges more transparent.
