According to the investigation, in September 2024 they were on a business trip in Nizhny Novgorod. Having received an advance for expenses, the men spent 37,000 rubles each on accommodation, but then provided the employer with fictitious rental documents. Thus, they appropriated 105,000 rubles for their own benefit. A criminal case has been opened against the employees under Part 2 of Article 160 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Embezzlement committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy"). The investigation is currently ongoing; however, as the Investigative Committee clarified, the accused voluntarily reimbursed the damage in full.
