Federal authorities have taken on Kirov's public transportation system.
According to the regional Ministry of Transport, a working group from the autonomous non-profit organization "Public Transport", created under the Russian Ministry of Transport, recently arrived in Kirov Oblast. The purpose of the visit was to analyze the state of public transport in the region.
The experts studied the operation of city routes, visited the trolleybus depot and the facilities of the motor transport company. They also spoke with drivers and private carriers to gain a full understanding of the current situation. The results of the trip will form the basis for a public transport development program in Kirov Oblast.
