At today's meeting Alexander Sokolov noted that around 190,000 people attended the opening and that the event was noticed in other cities across the country, including Moscow. "Yesterday I was in Moscow; colleagues asked how we managed to implement such a project. Once again I want to thank Sber," the governor said.
Sokolov also asked that the fountain be operated with the utmost caution so as not to damage it in the near future. He ordered the fountain's operation to be extended as much as possible given the weather so that Kirov residents could enjoy the spectacle, attend lectures, and much more.
The governor added that he was pleasantly surprised and delighted to see with what enthusiasm the city's residents and guests listened to a lecture on the history of culture on Sunday, and by the opening overall. "The celebration was a success," the official concluded.
