According to Anton Shaparin, vice president of the National Automobile Union, the increase in the recycling fee will hit Russians' wallets: new cars will become unaffordable for many families. Market participants warn that under such conditions and with high loan interest rates, it will become increasingly difficult for buyers to afford a new car.
