Sokolov proposed increasing penalties for abortions and banning liquor stores and vapes.

      Today Alexander Sokolov delivered an address to deputies, officials and public activists. In particular, he announced three new initiatives.

      First, the governor asked deputies to propose increasing penalties for legal entities that induce women to have abortions to the maximum possible extent. According to Sokolov, those for whom "abortion is merely a way to make money" should be punished.

      Second, the head of the region asked the Legislative Assembly to propose giving regions the right to ban 24-hour alcohol sales in apartment buildings. He added that if this is done, such a ban will certainly be introduced in Kirov Oblast.

      Third, Sokolov asked the Legislative Assembly to propose a complete ban on the sale of vapes in Kirov Oblast. The same applies to e-liquids.
