Recently, at around 8:30 p.m., officers of the Russian National Guard detained two individuals suspected of illegal drug trafficking in Kirov. During a patrol of the Kuriya Embankment, the officers noticed suspicious behavior by two people on the grounds of a garage cooperative. A check revealed that a man and a woman, born in 1996 and 1998, were looking for drug "stashes" using geolocation on a phone. As a result of a search of the scene, law enforcement officers found a small package measuring 1 by 2 centimeters. An investigative-operational police unit was called to the scene. The seized substance was sent for analysis, and the detained individuals were taken to the police station for the necessary procedural actions.
