Organizations in Kirov have started earning more.
In January–July this year the net financial result of Kirov companies' activities (that is, their profit minus their losses) amounted to 24.9 billion rubles. This is 18.7% more than for the same period of 2024.
The profit of profitable organizations rose by 23.5% and amounted to 28.7 billion rubles. The amount of losses incurred increased by 67.8% — to 3.9 billion rubles.
The most money was earned by firms operating in the manufacturing sector (66% of all profit in the region). Next are companies engaged in agriculture, forestry, hunting, fishing and fish farming (18.8%).
The profitability of goods sold, work performed and services rendered increased by 0.7 percentage points compared with the first half of 2024 and amounted to 8.7%. The highest profitability was recorded among firms in agriculture, forestry, hunting, fishing and fish farming (24.5%). The lowest was among those engaged in water supply, sewerage, waste removal and pollution remediation (0.4%).
