In Russia, it was proposed to evaluate officials and deputies through "Gosuslugi".
The State Duma has prepared a bill that would allow Russians to annually evaluate the performance of deputies at all levels, governors and heads of municipalities. The new functionality is intended to be integrated into Gosuslugi. According to the authors' plan, the voting results will be made publicly available. The bill does not introduce strict performance criteria, leaving it to citizens to decide for themselves whether a particular government official deserves voters' trust. Today Russians' ability to make such evaluations is limited. Feedback is mainly limited to the heads of certain territorial government bodies and public service centers. The new initiative, deputies of the New People party say, will make the system more transparent, writes Kommersant.ru.
