Over the month, the volume of credit card limits for Kirov residents rose by 41 percent.

      In August banks issued 10,990 credit cards to residents of Kirov Oblast with a total limit of 1.47 billion rubles. The average credit limit amounted to 134,000 rubles.

      Compared with July, the number of credit cards issued in the region rose by 20%. The total volume of approved limits increased even more significantly — by 41%. As for the average credit limit, this indicator rose by 18% over the month. This suggests that banks have become more willing to approve larger sums for Kirov borrowers.

      In terms of credit limit volume, Kirov Oblast ranked 40th out of 50 Russian regions. It was positioned between Yakutia and Kaluga Oblast, reports the United Credit Bureau.
