Russian Post and Kyrgyz Post agreed to speed up international delivery.

Russian Post and Kyrgyz Post (JSC "Kyrgyzpochta") have agreed to expand cooperation in logistics. The talks took place on the sidelines of the Universal Postal Union Congress, Russian Post’s press service reported.

The parties are considering the creation of a transport corridor via an International Mail Processing Center in Kyrgyzstan. This will simplify the delivery of goods to Russia and speed up the transit of parcels, including from one of Russia’s largest online platforms.

In addition, the companies intend to develop new options for cross-border money transfer services. It is expected that this will enable individuals to send money to relatives and loved ones more quickly and cheaply.

“I am confident that our joint efforts will significantly improve the quality of service, facilitate international trade processes, and open up new opportunities for our business partners and clients,” said Russian Post CEO Mikhail Volkov.
